Joanna van Heyningen is an architect.
She created her first practice in 1977
and in 1982 formed van Heyningen and
Haward Architects with Birkin Haward. 
Since 2012 she has been a consultant
practising under her own name. 
She was made an OBE in
the New Year 2016 Honours List.
